Tarence Kinsey is an American professional basketball player who has an estimated net worth of $1.5 million. Born Tarence Anthony Kinsey on March 21, 1984 in Tampa, Florida, he attended the University of South Carolina where he played college basketball for the Gamecocks. He helped the team earn two straight NIT championships while making an average of 19.4 points, 4.2 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 2.6 steals and shooting 53% from the field in the NIT Tournament.

After playing at the University of South Carolina, Tarence Kinsey was indrafted but he debuted on the National Basketball Association (NBA) in season 2006-07 when he played for the Memphis Grizzlies. He also took part in the 2007 NBA Europe Live Tour in Spain. He started the 2007-2008 NBA season with the Grizzlies, but he was released and moved to Turkey to play for the Fenerbahçe Ülker in the Basketball Super League.

In 2008, Kinsey signed a one-year contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers. From 2009-2011, he played with his previous team Fenerbahce Ulker. He played for Anadolu Efes S.K. for only one season after signing a one-year deal in July 2011.

In 2012, Tarence Kinsey signed with the Golden State Warriors but he didn't make it to the team's final roster. The next year, he signed with  with the Serbian team Partizan Belgrade. After a year, he moved to the Russian team Nizhny Novgorod. Other teams he has played for include Turkish club Trabzonspor (2015), Serbian club Crvena zvezda (2015-2016), Israeli club Hapoel Jerusalem (2016-2018) and Cafés Candelas Breogán of the Liga ACB (2018). He currently plays for the JDA Dijon of the Pro A.
