A certified hall of famer, Patrick Ewing is a Jamaican-American retired professional basketball player with an estimated net worth of $85 million. Most of his professional basketball career was spent with the New York Knicks. During the 50th anniversary celebration of the NBA in 1996, Patrick Ewing was selected as one of the 50 Greatest Basketball Player of All Time in a poll.

He joined the National Basketball Association when he was selected by the New York Knicks as its first overall pick in the first round of the 1985 NBA Draft. He left the Knicks when became a part of a trade deal with the Seattle SuperSonics. In season 2001-2002, he played with the Orlando Magic. After his successful professional basketball career, he was hired as  an assistant coach to the Orlando Magic, Washington Wizards and Houston Rockets.
