Orlando Woolridge is a former American professional basketball player and coach with an estimated net worth of $7 million.
Orlando Woolridge played for the University of Notre Dame Fighting Irish men's basketball team. He was an All-American during his senior year with the team. Eventually, he was selected as the first round, sixth overall pick by the Chicago Bulls in the 1981 NBA Draft.
He spent most of his career with the NBA and played for several teams such as the New Jersey Nets, Los Angeles Lakers, Denver Nuggets, Detroit Pistons, Milwaukee Bucks, and the Philadelphia 76ers. Woolridge retired from playing basketball in 1994.
After his NBA stint, he played professionally for the Italian League clubs Benetton Treviso and Buckler Bologna from 1994 to 1996. Woolridge coached Los Angeles Sparks of the WNBA, and Houston Takers and Arizona Rhinos of ABA.
Orlando Vernada Woolridge was born on December 16, 1959 in Bernice, Louisiana. After the long battle with heart disease, he died on May 31, 2012.
