Michael Redd was one of NBA's top players with an estimated net worth of $45 million. He went from being a second-round draft pick for the Milwaukee Bucks in 2000 to becoming an all-star in just three years. As of the moment, he holds the NBA record for most three-point field goals made in one quarter with eight in the fourth. However, being an NBA star at a young age of 20 brought a set of challenges for this preacher’s kid.

Michael began in the starting guard position, and he eventually got offered a mega contract with the Bucks. He was not able to contribute immediately on his rookie year since he was behind the NBA All-Star guard Ray Allen on the depth chart. He eventually became better than anticipated since he played exceptionally well against Glenn Robinson, Ray Allen, and his other teammates during practice. His former Bucks coach George Karl rewarded him by providing additional playing time. He did not disappoint because he averaged 11.4 points for every contest and 44.4% on three-point baskets in his second NBA campaign. Last February 2002, Redd made eight three-pointers.

As of the moment, Michael is living his dream. He started the Michael Redd Foundation so he can give back to his home community in Columbus, Ohio. He also gave his father a brand new church building.
