Dell Curry is a retired American basketball player who has an estimated net worth of $16.6 million.
Dell Curry joined the Fort Defiance High School's basketball team. He led them to win the state championship. Instead of pursuing baseball as a career path, he continued to reach his dream of becoming an NBA star.
In college, he played with the Virginia Tech Hokies. Curry finished it with 2389 points, and 295 steals while with the team. During the NBA Draft in 1986, he was selected 15th overall by the Utah Jazz.
After one season with the Jazz, he moved to Cleveland Cavaliers then onto Charlotte Hornets where he played with 10 seasons. Curry was the recipient of NBA Sixth Man of the Year in 1994.
He transferred to Milwaukee Bucks in 1999 and stayed with the team for one season. During his last three seasons in the NBA, Curry went to Toronto Raptors and his game averages of 11.7 points, and 40.2 percent three-point field goal percentage.
After appearing inside the basketball court, Curry became the assistant coach for Charlotte Bobcats in 2007 but his stint shortened when he stepped down even before the season began.
Wardell Stephen Curry, Sr. was born on June 25, 1964 in Harrisonburg, Virginia. In 1988, he married Virginia Tech schoolmate, Sonya Adams and has three children.
