Danny Ainge is an American basketball executive and a former basketball and baseball player with an estimated net worth of $10 million.
Danny Ainge started his career in sports when he played for the basketball, football, and baseball teams of the North Eugene High School. In 1977, Parade Magazine named him as High School All-America team.
During his stint as a college basketball player at Brigham Young University, he earned the John Wooden award. In 1977, he played for the Toronto Blue Jays.
At the same time, Ainge was selected by the Boston Celtics. During his stay with the Celtics, they won the NBA title in 1984 and 1986. He became a free agent during the 1991-1992 NBA season, wherein he joined the Phoenix Suns from 1992-1995.
After a year, he became the coach of the Phoenix Suns until 1999. In 2003, he was hired as Executive Director of Basketball Operations for the Boston Celtics.
Daniel Ray Ainge was born on March 17, 1959 in Eugene, Oregon. He is married to Michelle and has six children.
