D.J. Augustin is a professional American basketball player with an estimated net worth of $16 million.
D.J. Augustin played for the Brother Martin High School's basketball team which won two state championships. During the onslaught of Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans, he played during his senior year at Hightower High School in Missouri. He was named as McDonald's All-American.
His collegiate career started when he represented University of Texas-Austin's Longhorn basketball team in 2006. He was named All-Big 12 Second Team, consensus first-team All-American and Bob Cousy award winner in 2008.
Augustin was chosen by the Charlotte Bobcats during the NBA Draft in 2008. He stayed with the team until 2012. Then, also in 2012, he signed to play with the Indiana Pacers for a year. He also had a brief stint with the Toronto Raptors in 2013. Days after he waived from the Raptors, he signed up a contract with the Chicago Bulls.
