Chris Kaman is a German-American professional basketball player.

Chris Kaman's career began when he represented his school, Tri-Unity Christian School's basketball team.

He played three seasons for Central Michigan. He led the team winning the Mid-American Conference Championship and a NCAA tournament first-round win in 2003. Kanan earned an Associated Press Honorable Mention All-America honors.

When he joined the NBA Draft in 2003, he was chosen by the Los Angeles Clippers. Then, Kaman traded to New Orleans Hornets in 2011. After his stint with the Hornets, he transferred to Dallas Mavericks in 2012 and Los Angeles Lakers in 2013. He represented Germany in the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

Christopher Zane Kaman is born on April 28, 1982 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He acquired his German citizenship in 2008. He is married to Emilie VilleMonte.
