A retired professional basketball player and sportscaster, Bill Walton spent 13 years of his life playing for the NBA. He officially joined the NBA when he was selected by the Portland Trail Blazers as the first overall pick in the first round of the 1974 NBA Draft.

From 1974 to 1978, he played for the Portland Trail Blazers and from 1979 to 1985, he played for the San Diego and Los Angeles Clippers. From 1985 to 1987, he played for the Boston Celtics before is retirement.

Bill Walton attended the University of California Los Angeles. While working as a sportscaster, Bill Walton became popular with a number of catch phrases which include "What is a foul?", "He couldn't even inbound the ball!", "That's a terrible call! Terrible," and "Throw it down, big man! Throw it down!".
