Rubens Barrichello is a Brazilian professional racing driver with an estimated net worth of $6 million.

At age nine, Rubens Barrichello began racing karts and won five karting titles in Brazil before heading to Europe in 1990. He joined and won the British Formula 3 Championship which he beat David Coulthard.

During the 1993 Formula One season, he joined the Jordan Formula One team and placed fourth in the European Grand Prix. Barrichello left the team in 1996 and moved to Stewart Grand Prix the following year. In 1999, he qualified third in Brazil, took the wet qualifying session in France, and got three podium finishes at the San Marino, French and European Grand Prix.

Barrichello signed with the Ferrari team in 2000. His successful stint with the team brought him to win his first Grand Prix victory at the German Grand Prix, and won four races in 2002. He announced that he will leave the team for Honda in August 2005.

He joined Honda Racing F1 team in 2006. Barrichello experienced difficulty in adapting to Honda machinery which led to his poor performance in races. Veteran designer Ross Brawn bought Honda due to financial breakdown and renamed the team as Brawn GP in 2009.

Barrichello was the first driver in the history of Formula 1 to compete in more than 300 Grand Prix tournaments. He became one of the members of Williams F1 in 2010. During the 2011 Brazilian Grand Prix, he finished 14th place. He shifted from Formula 1 to IndyCar in 2012 and joined the KV Racing Technology. Also, he was hailed as 2012 Indianapolis 500 Rookie of the Year.
