Born on August 4, 1978  in Las Vegas Nevada, Kurt Busch came from a family of NASCAR drivers. Tom, his father, has won several NASCAR sanction events while his brother Kyle also drives for NASCAR Series.

Aside from winning 24 cup races, Kurt Busch has also won the 2004 Cup Series Championship. He is one of the 23 NASCAR drivers who have won in three top divisions of the series, the Nationwide Series, Camping World Truck Series and the Sprint Cup Series.
