Jamie McMurray is a professional race car driver currently competing in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. He drives for Earnhardt Ganassi Racing using the No. 1 Chevrolet SS. McMurray is best recognized as the winner of the  2002 UAW-GM Quality 500. He is one of the three drivers who have won both Brickyard 400 and Daytona 500  on the same year.

McMurray debuted in the NASCAR in the Craftsman Truck Series. As of October 12, 2013, he has competed in 397 races over his 12-year career in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. On the other hand, he has spent 13 years in the NASCAR Nationwide Series competing in a total of 187 races. Lastly, he participated in 25 races over his four-year career in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.
