Christian Horner is one of the new breeds of young, enthusiastic team principals. He currently has a net worth of $20 million. While in charge at Red Bull, he built up his influence and power within the sport.

He started as a driver in 1994 and competed in the British F3 championship with three various teams for three different seasons. Last 1997, he moved to F3000 and founded Team Arden. Since he realized he would not make it to the top level, he retired from driving in the year 1998 and concentrated on the management of his team.

Since he was only 25 years old, Horner had struggled for results. In 2002, he signed Bjorn Wirdheim and Tomas Enge. Enge finished first in the championship, but he got demoted after failing a drug test. Wirdheim stayed with the team the next year and won the title by 35 points. The year 2004 was the glory year of Horner and Arden. He signed Robert Doornbos, and Tonio Liuzzi and the team was able to secure the constructors' championship with a significant margin. Liuzzi took the drivers' title.

Red Bull entered F1 last 2005 and found a Horner as their young and dynamic team leader. He was the youngest team principal and the media attacked the appointment quickly. They ignored the fact that Ron Dennis and Frank Williams were at the same age when they began their F1 careers.

It only took Horner over a season to secure the first podium of the team at the 2006 Monaco Grand Prix. Before the race, he promised that if a Red Bull finishes in the top three, he will take a dip in the pool of the Energy Station in his birthday suit. He kept his promise and did this dressed in a superman cape.

Horner is now wiser and older. He led the team to four consecutive drivers' and constructors' titles between 2010 and 2013. The appointment of Adrian Newey as the technical director was an inspiring decision. Because of its success, Horner was able to build the political standing of Red Bull and enjoyed a close relationship with Bernie Ecclestone, the F1 supremo.
