Mike D'Antoni is an American basketball coach and former basketball player which has an estimated net worth of $12 million.

Mike D'Antoni started his basketball career when he was in college, playing for for Marshall University. In 1973, he was drafted to Kansas City-Omaha Kings.

After D'Antoni's stint for the Kings, he played for the Spirits of St. Louis of the American Basketball Association in 1973. He returned to NBA, playing for the San Antonio Spurs in 1977. He stayed for the Spurs just two games before he was offered to play for Olimpia Milano from 1978-1990.

During his stint for Olimpia Milano, he was voted the league's top point guard of all time in 1990. He led his team to five Italian League titles, two Euro league titles, two Cups of Italy, one Korać Cup and one Intercontinental Cup.

From 1994-1997, he was the head coach for Benetton Treviso wherein the team won the Cup of Europe and Coppa Italia in 1995 and also national league title in 1996–97. Then he returned as coach for the said team in 2001, as he led the team in winning streak and got the league championship.

He landed his coaching job in a NBA team for Denver Nuggets in 1997-98 season, as club's director of player personnel. A year later, he became the head coach for the team. Then, D'Antoni became a scout for San Antonio Spurs during the 1999–2000 season and an assistant for the Portland Trail Blazers in 2000–01.

In 2002, he worked as Phoenix Suns coaching assistant. In 2003, he was hired as the head coach for the said team and stayed until 2008.

He accepted an offer from the New York Knicks as its head coach from 2008-2012. Currently, he is the head coach for Los Angeles Lakers.
