Puerto Rican Jonny Moseley is an Olympic skier who has an estimated net worth of $5 million. Born Jonathan William Moseley on August 27, 1975 in San Juan, Puerto Rico, he is the first Puerto Rican to become a member of the U.S. Ski Team. He attended The Branson School in Ross, California. He joined the Squaw Valley Freestyle Ski Team in 1982 and he won his first Junior National title in Freestyle Skiing soon after.

In 1993, Moseley made it to the U.S. Ski Team but he narrowly missed out on a spot to go to the 1994 Winter Olympic Games in Lillehammer, Norway. In his fourth year on the national team, they were greatly successful at the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano, Japan. He won the first out of the three gold medals for the U.S. Freestyle Skiers. It was the team’s first medal for the U.S.A. in the 18th Winter Olympics.

Jonny Moseley has received a parade in his honor which was declared as “Jonny Moseley Day.” In 1998, he was named “Sportsman of the Year” by the US Olympic Committee. He has also been featured on the covers of Freeskier and Rolling Stone magazines. In 2002, he was chosen to be the traditional post-Olympics athlete host of Saturday Night Live. He hosted the March 3, 2002 episode along with the musical guest Outkast.
