Net worth of $6 million. Born on November 19, 1971 in San Francisco, California, he began motocross racing at the age of 15 after a successful BMX career. He made the transition in 1989 and went on to win several competitions. From 1993 to 2000, he dominated the Supercross and has won 72 of the 250cc Main Events and seven 250cc Supercross championships.
After 2000, McGrath’s career was loomed with injuries and became intermittently successful. He has won the second most AMA Supercross and motocross victories. In 2003, he was inducted into the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame. He took a brief period of retirement but came back in 2003 and raced until 2006 when he announced his official retirement. He consistently placed in the Top 5 before he retired. In the same year, he launched his own event, the McGrath Invitational. He has published an autobiography entitled Wide Open: A Life in Supercross.
Jeremy McGrath is one of the most popular American Motocross/Supercross champions in the history of the sport and earned the title “King of Supercross.” He was also known for his tricks during jumps on the track and his most famous is “Nac Nac” which helped spawn the sport of freestyle motocross. He was named the AMA Pro Athlete of the Year Award in 1996.
