Scott Stevens is a retired Canadian ice hockey player for New Jersey Devils who has an estimated net worth of $5 million.

Scott Stevens began playing hockey when he earned a spot on Kitchener Junior B team. He had the opportunity to play in Czechoslovakia along with the team. Then, he was chosen by the Kitchener Rangers during the 1981 Ontario Hockey League draft.

In 1982, he led the Rangers in winning the Memorial Cup. Also in the same year, Stevens was drafted by the Washington Capitals during the NHL Entry Draft. As we went throughout the season, he was named Capitals' Rookie of the Year.

Stevens left Capitals after staying with the team for eight seasons, he moved to St. Louis Blues in 1990. He was offered a four-year deal with the team, but his stint with the team lasted for one season.

As he transferred to New Jersey Devils, Stevens led the team in winning the Stanley Cup in 1995, 2000 and 2003. His performance as a defenceman which he was recognized as recipient of Conn Smythe Trophy in 2000.

Stevens retired playing ice hockey on September 6, 2005. In 2012, he became the assistant coach for the New Jersey Devils.

Ronald Scott Stevens was born on April 1, 1964 in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. He attended Eastwood Collegiate Institute. He is married to Donna Stevens and has three children. After the September 11 attacks , he established a program called Scott's Kids which gives help to the family of the victims.
