Retired Canadian ice hockey defense man Scott Niedermayer has an estimated net worth of $30 million. Currently, he serves as the Anaheim Ducks' assistant coach for the National Hockey League. Prior to his retirement, Scott Niedermayer spent 18 seasons with the National Hockey League for only two teams, the Anaheim (Mighty) Ducks and the New Jersey Devils.
Scott Niedermayer is considered as the only professional hockey player to have won in every international and major North American championships. In fact, he has won the World Junior Championship, Memorial Cup, IIHF World Championship, World Cup, Stanley Cups and Olympics. He was a gold medalist at the 1991 World Junior Championships, 2002 Winter Olympics, 2004 World Championships and the 2010 Winter Olympics.
Scott Niedermayer debuted into the NHL in 1991 when he was selected as a first round pick in the 1991 NHL Entry Draft by the New Jersey Devils. He played with the team until the end of the 2005 season. In August 2005, he agreed to a four-year $27 million contract with the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim.
Scott Niedermayer was born on August 31, 1973 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. He is currently married to his wife Lisa with whom he has four children named Luke, Joshua, Jackson and Logan.
