Ryan Miller was born on July 17, 1980 in East Lansing Michigan USA. Since September 2011, Miller has been married to Noureen DeWulf.
Miller joined the NHL in 1999, selected as the 138th overall pick by the Buffalo Sabres at the NHL Entry Draft. He was also a part of the U.S. hockey team which won a silver medal at the 2010 Winter Olympic Games held in Vancouver, Canada. For his efforts, Miller was named tournament MVP. He also won a Vezina trophy, awarded to the league's best goaltended, for his play in the 2009-2010 season.
