Nail Yakupov is a Russian professional ice hockey player who has an estimated net worth of $2.2 million.

Nail Yakupov started his hockey career when he played for his hometown's team, the Reaktor Nizhnekamsk at Russian Minor Hockey League. He was then selected as the second overall pick by the Samia Sting during the 2010 Canadian Hockey League Import Draft.

He received the Emms Family Award and was recognized as the OHL Rookie of the Year by the end of 2011 season. Yakupov was chosen by the Edmonton Oilers first overall in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.

When the 2012-2013 NHL Lockout implemented, Yakupov went to Russia to play for Kontinental Hockey League's HC Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk but temporarily suspended after two games due to the eligibility to play for the league.
