Kris Letang is a Canadian professional ice hockey player with an estimated net worth of $22 million.
Kris Letang spent three seasons with Quebec Major Junior Hockey League's Val-d'Or Foreurs from 2004 to 2007. While with the team, he was named to the QMJHL and CHL All-Rookie Team. He was chosen by the Pittsburgh Penguins as the third round, 62nd overall pick during the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.
He made his debut to the Penguins in 2006-2007 season. During his third season with the Foreurs, the team was eliminated and assigned to the Penguins' minor league affiliate, Wilkes-Barre Penguins. Playing for both teams, Letang was a recipient of the Emile Bouchard Trophy, Kevin Lowe Trophy and Paul Dumont Trophy for his hard work as one of the best defencemen in QMJHL.
Letang played for the Penguins during the NHL playoff and won the Stanley Cup in 2008. He joined the NHL YoungStars Game for two consecutive years. During the latter part of January 2014, he suffered a stroke which the doctors discovered a small hole in the wall of his heart.
