Joe Pavelski is an American professional ice hockey player with an estimated net worth of $24 million.

Joe Pavelski started his career when he played for Stevens Point Area Senior High Panthers hockey team. While with the team, they won the Wisconsin State Hockey Championship in 2002.

In 2004, he was a member of the United States Hockey League's Waterloo Blackhawks and won the USHL Dave Tyler Junior Player of the Year award. Pavelski played two seasons from 2004 to 2006 for University of Wisconsin Badgers. During his stay with the team, he was named to the All-WCHA Rookie Team, and selected to the All-WCHA Second Team.

Pavelski was selected as the seventh round, 205th overall pick by the San Jose Sharks during the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.
