As a junior, Evgeni Malkin has participated in three  IIHF World U20 Championships and two IIHF World U18 Championships for the Russia team which won him one bronze, two silver and one gold medal. As a junior, he participated in 4 IIHF World Championships which won him a gold medal and MVP award.

Considered as one of the best NHL players, Malkin is known for his incredible set of skills to make plays.
