Evander Kane is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who has an estimated net worth of $7 million.
Evander Kane began playing minor hockey when he was 8 years old. At age 14, he recorded 140 points in 66 games with the bantam North Shore Winter Club. He also played for the Greater Vancouver Canadians where he made 22 goals and 54 points during his stint with the team.
He was selected as the 19th overall pick by the Vancouver Giants in the 2006 WHL Bantam Draft. Kane was named West First All-Star Team in 2009, and twice hailed as Player of the Week. The Atlanta Thrashers was chosen 4th overall in the NHL Draft, and signed him an entry-level contract on July 20, 2009.
During the 2011 offseason, the Thrashers franchise was bought by the True North Sports and Entertainment and became the Winnipeg Jets. The Jets traded Kane to the Buffalo Sabres in February 2015.
