Chris Kunitz is a Canadian professional ice hockey player which has an estimated net worth of $3.2 million.
Chris Kunitz started playing ice hockey when he joined the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League's Melville Millionaires for two season. Then, in college, he was with the Ferris State Bulldogs in 1999.
While with the Bulldogs, he is a finalist for Hobey Baker Award in 2003. On the same year, Kunitz was signed by the Anaheim Mighty Ducks. He spend the NHL lockout for the Anaheim's affiliate, Cincinnati Mighty Ducks during the 2004-05 season and picked up on waivers by the Atlanta Thrashers in 2005-2006 season. After two weeks he was re-claimed the said waiver to the Ducks.
He became one of the alternate team captain for the Ducks and led the team in winning the Stanley Cup in 2007. Kunitz was traded to the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2008-2009 season. While playing for the Penguins, the team won the Stanley Cup in 2009.
Christopher Kunitz was born on September 26, 1979 in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. He earned a degree in marketing and business at Ferris State. In July 2008, he married Maureen Pfeiffer, and has three children.
