Ben Smith is an American ice hockey player who plays the right wing for Chicago Blackhawks. He has an estimated net worth of $2 million.

Ben Smith started his professional career when he was drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks during the 6th round, 169th overall for 2008 NHL Entry Draft. Prior to this, he played for Boston College's ice hockey team for four seasons.

In 2010, he was recalled by the Blackhawks from the AHL's Rockford IceHogs and make his debut game against Edmonton Oilers. Smith led the team in winning the Stanley Cup Finals as they defeated the Boston Bruins in 2013.

After his contract ended, Smith was signed by the Blackhawks to extend his two years stint with the team on June 27, 2014.

Benjamin Alexander Smith was born on July 11, 1988 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He graduated from the Westminster School in 2006.
