Sean O'Hair is an American professional golfer and he has an estimated net worth of $12 million. In 1999, he turned professional instead of playing college golf after his junior year at high school at Brophy College Preparatory in Phoenix, Arizona. He played under the supervision of his father, Mark O'Hair, who wanted to turn him into a touring pro. The older O'Hair sold his share of the family shutter business in Lubbock for $2.75 million in order to do so.

From 1999, O'Hair entered the PGA Tour Qualifying School but was unsuccessful during his first five attempts. He then played for various developmental tours until he was able to make it through the PGA in 2005 after passing all three stages. These include the PGA Tour's official second-level developmental Nationwide Tour, the third-level Gateway Tour and the Cleveland Golf Pro Tour. During that year, he won his maiden PGA Tour event at the John Deere Classic and finished second at the EDS Byron Nelson Championship. He has established himself for a Rookie of the Year distinction.

He and his wife, Jaclyn, were married at the age of 20, and they have four kids. Jaclyn caddied for him on the mini-tours for two years then his father-in-law caddied for him his first three years on the tour.
