Gus Malzahn is an American college football coach and former football player which has an estimated net worth of $3.5 million.

Gus Malzahn became a football player when he was Arizona Razorbacks as walk-on receiver in 1984 to 1985. Then, he transferred to Henderson State Reddies wherein he was two-year letterman.

His career leveled up when he became part of the coaching staff in 1991, as an defensive coordinator for the Hughes High School football team. Malzahn hailed as the head coach for the team from 1992 to 1995.

Malzahn took over the coaching position at Springfield Bulldogs in 2001. Then, he led the team in winning the Class 5A championship in 2005. Also on the same year, he returned to Razorbacks as offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach.

During the 2006 season, the Razorbacks won the SEC Western Division championship. After a year, Malzahn received an offer from Tulsa and took the role as offensive coordinator.

He also became Auburn Tigers' offensive coordinator in 2008. Malzahn was selected by ESPN as one of the best recruiters in the Southern Conference in 2011. Then, he was chosen to be the head coach for Arkansas State.

Malzahn replaced Gene Chizik as Auburn Tigers' head coach in 2012. He won the 2013 Eddie Robinson Coach of the Year, Sporting News College Football Coach of the Year, Home Depot Coach of the Year Awards, and SEC Coach of the Year.

Arthur Gustav Malzahn III was born on October 28, 1965 in Irving, Texas. He is married to Kristi Otwell and has two children.
