Originating from Soviet Union, Wladimir Klitschko is a Ukrainian professional boxer with an estimated net worth of $30 million as of 2012.

Born on March 25, 1976, Klitschko attended the Pereyaslav-Khmelnitsky Pedagogical Institute and later on, he finished a post-graduate program at Kiev University. Prior to his professional boxing career, Klitschko was hired as a coach at the Gwardia Warszawa boxing club. In 1993, he was named as the Junior European heavyweight champion.

Known as "The Steel Hammer" or the "Dr Steel Hammer", Klitschko earned worldwide attention after his participation at the 1996 Summer Olympics which was held in Atlanta Georgia. In the said event, he won the superheavyweight gold medal after defeating Paea Wolfgramm.

His professional boxing career started with a victory over Ross Puritty. In March 2000, he again fought Paea Wolfgramm whom he knocked after the first round. His most notable boxing matches were with Chris Byrd, Samuel Peter, Sultan Ibragimov, David Haye, and Eddie Chambers.

Throughout his entire professional boxing career, Wladimir Klitschko has participated in a total of 62 fights, with 59 wins and 3 losses. Out of 59 victories, 50 were win via knockout.
