Joshua Clottey is a retired Ghanaian professional boxer who has an estimated net worth of $10 million. He was born on March 16, 1976 in Accra, Ghana. When he was a child, he was very passionate with football. He moved and spent a few years in the United Kingdom and then in the United States.

As a professional boxer, Clottey quickly rose to fame when he won his first 20 fights with 14 knockouts in the welterweight division. He has fought against Antonio Margarito where he lost in a controversial fight. On June 13, 2009, he faced Miguel Cotto for the WBO welterweight title at Madison Square Garden where he lost in a controversial split decision. He then fought Manny Pacquiao, a seven-division world champion, on March 13, 2010 in Arlington, Texas at the Dallas Cowboys Stadium. He lost to Pacquiao by unanimous decision.

Upon his retirement in 2011, The Grandmaster or The Hitter has only lost four fights in his career. He also once held the 2008 IBF Welterweight Championship belt.
