Tony Conigliaro is a former American baseball player who started off his career when he signed up with the Boston Red Sox in 1962. He was known for his fantastic home runs, like what he did during the 1965 season which he did 32 for the Red Sox.

Aside from being the youngest home run champion in American League history, he was the youngest player to play for the League. Conigliaro had a brief stint for the California Angels in 1971. In 1975, he returned to the Red Sox. Life after retirement, he became a sports anchor for two different TV stations.

Anthony Richard Conigliaro was born on January 7, 1945 in Revere, Massachusetts. He had a daughter, Jessica Wheaton. On February 24, 1990, he died at the age of 45 at Salem, Massachusetts.
