Paul Goldschmidt is an American professional baseball player with an estimated net worth of $4.5 million.
Paul Goldschmidt played baseball for The Woodlands High School and Texas State University's baseball team. He was twice named as the Southeastern Conference hitter of the year in 2008 and 2009. During his three-year career with the Texas State Bobcats, he recorded 369 RBIs, 36 home runs, and 45 doubles.
He entered the minor league with the Rookie League's Missoula Osprey in 2009. Goldschmidt also played at California and Southern League. He was named to the Baseball American first-team Minor League All-Star, and Double-A all-star first baseman. During his stint for both leagues, he recorded .317 with a .407 on-base percentage, and 83 home runs.
Goldschmidt called up to the majors in August 2011. In 2013, he received numerous awards such as NL Hank Aaron Award, Gold Glove Award and Silver Slugger Award. The following year, he batted .300 wityh 19 home runs, and 69 RBIs.
