Nomar Garciaparra is a former American professional baseball player and ESPN analyst with an estimated net worth of $45 million.

Nomar Garciaparra began his career while attending Georgia Tech when he joined the Yellow Jackets baseball team. In 1994, he led the team in reaching the College World Series. He was named as Atlantic Coast Conference All-Star and first-team All-American in 1993-94 season.

He was chosen by the Boston Red Sox to play for the team in 1994. During his stint with the Red Sox, Garciaparra honed his baseball skills in the minor league system of the team for three years. Then, he made it to the Majors in 1996.

Garciaparra's stay with the Red Sox lasted for 8 years. He transferred to the Chicago Cubs in 2004. Then, he went to Los Angeles Dodgers two years later. Then, he signed a one-year deal with the Oakland Athletics after three years stint with the Dodgers.

On March 10, 2010 as Garciaparra signed up a one-day contract with Boston Red Sox and decided to retire. After his career on the field, he became a contributing analysis for the ESPN's Baseball Tonight, and Wednesday Night Baseball.

Meanwhile, he serves as Los Angeles Dodgers' broadcast team which he does pre-and-post game analyst for SportsNet LA, and with Rick Monday on KLAC and Dodgers Radio Network.

Anthony Nomar Garciaparra was born on July 23, 1973 in Whittier, California. He is married to fellow Olympian, and World Cup Champion soccer star Mia Hamm. They have three children.
