Moises Alou is a former Dominican-American professional baseball player with an estimated net worth of $75 million.

Moises Alou played baseball while attending Cañada College at age 18. His bat speed and speed on the basepaths noticed several baseball scouts. In 1986, he was chosen by the Pittsburgh Pirates as the second overall pick in the amateur baseball draft. He was traded to Montreal Expos which his father, Felipe, managed.

He moved to Florida Marlins as a free agent after four seasons with the team and won the World Series in 1997. After one season, Alou was traded again, this time for Houston Astros before the 1998 season.

Others teams that he played for include Chicago Cubs, San Francisco Giants and New York Mets. During his career, Alou won twice for the Silver Slugger Award in 1994 and 1998. He announced his retirement on March 5, 2009.
