Jason Heyward is an American baseball player who played as a right fielder for the Atlanta Braves. He has an estimated net worth of $5 million.

Jason Heyward began playing baseball when he was a kid. He joined the McDonough Dodgers in 1997. He was named as tournament MVP when they played against Puerto Rico in the youth league.

In 1998, he became a member of an elite travel club, Georgia Nitro and stayed with them for five years. While studying at Henry County High School, Heyward earned All-American honors.

Upon graduating from high school, Heyward was drafted by Atlanta Braves 14th overall during the Major League Baseball Draft in 2007. Then, Heyward started his stint with the team under GCL Braves, and Danville Braves.

Heyward became the starting right fielder when he debuted for Atlanta Braves. His first Major League plate appearance, he did three-run home run.

He received Fielding Bible Award among the best fielding right fielder in the league, and Rawlings Gold Glove Award in 2012.
