Mark Steinberg is a renowned sports agent who has represented many high profile and popular professional golfers since the early 1990s. He currently serves as one of the partners at Excel Sports Management. He has signed famous golfers like Tiger Woods, Danielle Kang, and Matt Kuchar. He is also influential in shaping the career of golfers like Annika Sörenstam and Steve Stricker.

After completing his undergraduate degree from University of Illinois, he attended  University of Illinois College of Law. He had his internship at IMG, and by 1992, he was hired as a company employee. A year later, he was able to sign Karrie Webb and Michelle McGann. In 1994, he signed Annika Sörenstam to the company, and a year later, she won at the U.S. Women's Open. 

Currently, Mark Steinberg sits on the board of Cleveland Sports Commission, Tiger Woods Foundation  and Annika Sörenstam Foundation.
