Being one of the biggest stars in Hollywood has its perks. One of the better ones is being able to afford a 7-acre personal resort in one of the biggest vacation destinations in the world. The other is then selling it for millions in profit.
Located high above the bluffs that surround beautiful Secret Beach on the North shores of Kauai, Hawaii, the multi-home compound is nothing short of breathtaking. A total of four residential structures dot the near 7-acre compound, and across all of them are seven bedrooms, 7 full baths, 2 half baths, and more luxury than you can possibly imagine.
First, we arrive at the two-story main house which includes three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, two lava rock fireplaces and extra high ceilings designed for the original owner of the house, the 7’2” basketball icon Kareem Abdul Jabbar.
A quick jaunt outside brings you to the carriage house, a type of house we didn’t even know existed until now. This house has a full bathroom connected to its bedroom, and presumably enough space to park a horse-drawn carriage.
The self-contained guesthouse has a further two bedrooms and two bathrooms, and the multi-purpose studio has an additional half bath and can be converted to have yet another bedroom.
Head back outside to take a dip in the 50-foot long swimming pool and spa, along with a poolside pavilion, bar, bathroom, and a tennis court only a few steps away. Keep walking and you’ll arrive at an orchard filled with harvestable fruit trees of all kinds, surrounded by tropical ornaments (just to remind you where you are), and hiking trail that winds down the bluffs to one of the most pristine beaches in the world.
Each and every building has air conditioning, vaulted ceilings, and oversized glass doors and windows to give you a clear and unobstructed view of the spectacular Hawaiian sunset.
