Pink Reveals She Has The Flu A Day Before Super Bowl Performance

It is the day before her big Super Bowl performance and Pink has revealed she has the flu!

The singer is scheduled to sing ‘The Star-Spangled Banner’ in Minneapolis, Minnesota before the New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles battle it out on the field. However, Pink has a battle of her own she fighting a day before her big performance. She has come down with the nasty dreaded flu that is sweeping the nation.

Pink shared her struggle with fans in a post on Instagarm, blaming her children, daughter six-year-old Willow and son 13-month-old Jameson for her sickness. She included a photo of herself trying to get through a rehearsal for her highly anticipated performance.

“Trying to practice the flu away. I’ve been waiting to sing this song since 1991 when I saw my idol, Whitney Houston, own this song. And now, my chance has finally come. And it just so happens that this chance comes when I have two small Petri dish kids who literally cough INTO MY MOUTH and rub their snot on my cheek,” She started off the post.

The "What About Us" singer went on to explain how one of her dreams is turning into a nightmare. She also made it clear that she is an Eagles fan and is rooting for them to beat the Patriots.

“I’ve arrived at another one of my dreams which is slowly becoming a sort of nightmare. I will tell you, this is one of the biggest honors of my life, singing this song in front of my family, my military family, my dad and brother and step mama and family and the world. And the EAGLES!?!?! I promise I will do my best, as I always do.” Pink declared.

Her little gremlins may have got her sick, but Pink isn’t holding a grudge. She ended her post with a shout out to her kids letting them know they can pretty much do whatever they want to her, “you win,” she exclaimed.

Singer Pink is battling the flu a day before her Super Bowl performance. However, she is not going to let that stop her from making one of her dreams come true. She is Pink after all and nothing keeps this amazing kick-butt chick down, not even the pesky flu.
