Nina Dobrev Takes Cancer Survivor On Helicopter Tour Of LA

Vampire Diaries actress Nina Dobrev took a cancer patient on an aerial tour of Los Angeles on Wednesday, making her dream come true.

Dobrev is proving once again just how nice Canadians are by making a young cancer patient’s wish come true.

Hannah Stever is a cancer patient, a Dobrev fan, and wanted to see the West Coast for the very first time. The Canadian Make A Wish Foundation decided to hit both birds with one stone by giving Hannah a birds’-eye view of the whole city, with the Flatliners star as her co-pilot.

"Hannah had a wish. Today we surprised her and made it come true,” wrote Dobrev on her Instagram. “@MakeAWishCA introduced us, but I wanted to make sure that her first trip to California [was] even more memorable than just hanging out with boring old me."

Dobrev got to bond with fellow Canuck as they flew over everything that Los Angeles has to offer. “This fellow Canadian girl is from Alberta (Oh, Canada!!!) and wanted to see Los Angeles. Well, I decided there’s no better way than a bird’s-eye view! After an amazing lunch with her family, we all hopped on a helicopter and visited all the famous landmarks. Venice, Santa Monica, Malibu, The Getty Museum, The Hollywood Sign, Silver Lake, Griffith Observatory, Downtown, etc! (We even did a fly by over my house, which was super creepy because we could totally see into it from the chopper ?)."

Oh dear. If you can see into Dobrev’s house via helicopter, just imagine what an aerial drone could do?

"Hannah and I had the most incredible day together, Nina adds. “She is such a strong, sweet and beautiful soul with an unbelievably supportive and loving family. I feel beyond lucky that I got to hang out with her today. Seeing her smile made me smile and warmed my heart beyond description."

"I hope you had as much fun as I did, Hannah. Love you !!! @hannah_stever ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️"

Let’s hope that Hannah remains in remission for a very, very long time.
