Instagram Star Live Streams Getting Kicked Off Plane

Fitness Model Jen Selter, 24, tweeted herself right off an American Airlines flight. The fitness star, who was on her way to New York to attend the Mountain Dew ICE launch event on Jan. 18, 2018, got into a spat with a male flight attendant, which led to the flight being delayed for two hours.

After arguing with a flight attendant, who told Selter that she had to sit down, the two got into a heated argument.

“The plane wasn’t taking off. I told him to relax. But he had something against me,” Selter said.

"American Airlines calls the shots," an officer can be heard saying in one of the tweeted clips. "They don't want you to fly on their plane today."

Selter, known as "belfie queen" given her penchant for sharing butt pics, says another passenger sided with her and also left the plane. Though the airline says they offered Selter hotel accommodations and transportation, she decided to go elsewhere. The model, who has 11.7 million Instagram fans and has been named the second most influential fitness star in the world by Forbes, vowed to never fly with American Airlines again.

Selter, however, disputes the airline’s account, “AND correction @AmericanAir your employees working that night did NOT offer ANY accommodations. They specifically said if you get taken off, they are not responsible anymore and that we can sleep in the airport.”

"Just like that, 5 cops coming at me. Worst experience American Air," she captioned one post. "It was humiliating. They made me feel like a terrible person, and I did nothing wrong. I’ve seen cops come onto flights. But they shouldn’t kick people off unless something is actually dangerous."

After the incident, American Airlines issued the following statement:

"Ms. Selter was asked to leave the aircraft after a disagreement occurred Saturday night at Miami International Airport (MIA). American offered her hotel accommodations and transportation, which she declined. She flew on American Sunday morning back to New York (LGA) – arriving around 8:30 a.m. ET yesterday morning."
