In a surprise move, rapper Eminem admitted to using a gay dating app in his most recent interview.
Rapper Eminem just released his first new album since 2013. His ninth studio album, Revival is Eminem’s announcement to the world that he’s over his slump and ready to get back to making music. And, as is customary for the release of a major new album, he’s also making the rounds, interviewing with various publications in promotion of his latest album.
In one such interview with Vulture, Eminem answered questions about his love life and if he’s seeing anyone. “It’s tough,” the rapper admitted. “Since my divorce I’ve had a few dates and nothing’s panned out in a way that I wanted to make it public. Dating’s just not where I’m at lately.”
When asked how he lines up his dates Eminem admitted to using Tinder, which seemed to take the interviewer by surprise. When pressed, Eminem then went on to admit that wasn’t the only app he used "And Grindr. I also used to go to strip clubs. What can I say? Going to strip clubs is how I was meeting some chicks. It was an interesting time for me."
Grindr, for the uninitiated, is an exclusively homosexual dating app. The admission seems to have touched off a larger debate online whether or not Slim Shady is serious.
Y’all know Eminem jokes about being gay..he likes getting reactions. That man don’t like nor want the peen— Majin Bae (@PrinceStylez) December 19, 2017
Still, others think that he’s been bi all along, and this is actually not news.
Eminem has been hinting that he's bisexual for so long & nobody believes him. This reminds me of Tyler's situation. 😂 https://t.co/BGorEz9ycd— Ella ღ (@FentyLKnowles) December 19, 2017

Later in the interview, Eminem clarifies his position on sexuality while taking a shot at President Donald Trump. "I have no issue with someone’s sexuality, religion, race, none of that. Anyone who’s followed my music knows I’m against bullies — that’s why I hate that f---ing bully Trump — and I hate the idea that a kid who’s gay might get s--- for it."
Eminem also opened up about his friendship with Elton John, and how he gave the famous crooner diamond encrusted “male performance enhancement devices” for a wedding gift. The interviewer then asked where they could get one.
"I don’t know, I put people on it and they made it happen. Actually, I had some diamond-encrusted c--k rings, too. Right in my bedroom."
But if anyone is concerned about Eminem’s love life, don’t be. Slim Shady is apparently doing just fine. "Am I lonely? No, I’m good. Thanks for asking though."
