Drunk Malia Obama Dragged From Lollapalooza In Golf Cart

It looks like Malia Obama may have partied a little too hard at last week’s Lollapalooza music festival.

In a video obtained by TMZ, you can see the former President’s daughter being carried away in the back of a golf cart. She seemed in a daze, utterly unresponsive as the golf cart started and stopped as it tried to thread its way through the crowd of fans all heading home following the festival.

In the back of the cart, you can see a pair of Obama’s friends talking while Malia herself sits with her head lolled in the front seat. Security officials wave away the crowds as the cart vainly tries to make its way.

By all accounts, Lollapalooza was a huge success last weekend, with thousands of music lovers experiencing over a hundred musicians and bands across eight stages. Among the performers were some of the biggest names in music, such as The Killers, Muse, Lorde, Cage the Elephant, Arcade Fire, and more.

Obama seemed particularly into The Killer’s set Friday night as she rocked out with her friends. TMZ also obtained video footage that showed her at times head-banging to the tunes, and at others rolling around in the grass. You know, typical music festival things.

Her night must have gotten pretty wild, as later on that evening security was spotted helping her into a cart to take her home for the night. The likelihood of high blood alcohol concentrations is considered to be quite high.

It should be noted that Obama is still 19 in a country where the legal drinking age is 21. There's no word on who her supplier is, but if you’re one of the most beloved president’s daughters one can assume she generally gets what she wants.

In case you were wondering, this isn’t Obama’s first rodeo. She attended last year’s Lollapalooza as well, where she was seen rocking out during Mac Miller’s set. Then she seemed far more composed and a lot less wilted while she danced with her friends all afternoon, and she didn’t need to be carted away by security either.
