“The Notorious” Conor McGregor, 29, is known not only for his killer moves in the ring but also for his killer style. Now, the Irish bad boy seems intent on passing down his love of fashion to his infant son, aptly named Conor Jr.
The tot appeared like a miniature version of his dad decked out in a three-piece suit and shades. McGregor, who will be facing Floyd Mayweather in the ring tomorrow night for what promises to be a legendary fight, posed with his son at his luxury penthouse in Las Vegas, where he relaxing before the bout.
The blue suit, vest and orange tie that Conor Jack McGregor Jr., who was born on May 5, 2017, was sporting seemed to be a shrunken version of his dad’s famous duds. The outfit was created by David Heil, who heads the David August brand. Heil, an American designer, is known for dressing flamboyant stars like Kobe Bryant, Robert Downey Jr., Will Smith, and Sylvester Stallone, as well as McGregor. Heil designed McGregor's infamous “Eff You” suit which can be purchased on his website for $6,500.
McGregor, who at first appeared bare-chested in pajama bottoms, eventually got dressed as his girlfriend, Dee Devlin, and his son looked on.
The Irish mixed martial artist and boxer, who is the reigning UFC Lightweight Champion, and the former UFC Featherweight Champion, will go up against Floyd Mayweather at the T-Mobile Arena. Tomorrow’s fight purse is estimated to be in the neighborhood of $300 million. Though confidentiality agreements do not allow the split to be revealed, reports say it could be 70-30 or 75-25 in Mayweather's favor.
McGregor has been training for months for the fight. All that is left is to win. Though he is the underdog, his odds have improved dramatically since the event was announced. One thing that is in his favor is his age. He is 11 years younger than Mayweather, which could prove an advantage. McGregor has vowed to take Mayweather out in four rounds.
