Actress Chloe Grace Moretz has been granted a restraining order against a man who’s harassed her for the past month.
At first Moret’s stalker limited himself to her online profiles, but somewhere along the line constantly retweeting everything she said stopped being enough. That’s when he graduated to keeping tabs on her in real life.
Now a restraining order has been signed requiring Terry Daniel Quick to stay 100 yards away from Moretz and her family.
Why Moretz’s family? According to the court docs, "The persons are family members, whom reside and work together." Chloe’s brother Terry is her acting coach, and mother Teri Moretz is also a common figure in Chloe’s life.
As Chloe writes in her request for a restraining order, Quick “followed and harassed them while stalking me and has harassed and confronted them."
"Quick's online posts, harassment and stalking has become seriously alarming, annoying and harassing,” Chloe adds in her request, eloquently describing harassment as harassing.
Moretz isn’t joking though. Court documents describe two instances that were quite alarming, with one detailing how Quick followed her from the airport all the way to her home.
On Nov. 29, 2017, Quick was arrested outside of Moretz’ home after tailing her car from LAX Airport. He then rang the doorbell and told Terry that he and Chloe were engaged. Terry told him to buzz off while Chloe called the cops. The police cuffed Quick and escorted him away.
Quick also stalked Moretz while she was out on a date with her boyfriend, Brooklyn Beckham. On Nov. 19, 2017, Quick stalked the pair as they went from a concert to Poppy nightclub.

The court agreed that Terry’s behavior had crossed the line, and granted the order requiring him to stay away from the Moretz family for good. Terry apparently didn’t take the news very well.

Moretz’ latest film, I Love You, Daddy, was set to release last November. The movie was shelved only a week prior to its debut following allegations of sexual misconduct against Louis C.K., who starred opposite of Moretz in the film.
