Travis Barker, the famous drummer of Blink-182, is having a sale. Well, selling one item that he holds near and dear to his heart—his motorcycle. The "Green Goblin" as he calls it, has been placed back on the market and is rumored to be going for nearly $17,000.
Travis Barker is not only famous for being a member of Blink-182, but he is also an author, and producer, having collaborated with several hip-hop and rap artists. His notable collaborations include Juelz Santana, and DJ AM. Rolling Stone magazine refers to him as "punk's first superstar drummer."
His fame heightened as he starred in the MTV reality TV show with his then-wife, Shanna Moakler. The series highlighted Barker's family life and his day to day activities, including his tour with Blink-182 and his Transplants album before the show ended 2005. He and the late DJ AM made headlines again in 2008 when the pair cheated death by surviving a plane crash that left them with many surgeries and a lengthy recovery process.

According to TMZ.com, the motorcycle is a 2007 Honda CBR1000RR. Barker sold the bike a few years ago, but the seller is looking to flip the bike for-profit and Barker is stepping in to assist. The $17 K is said to be a steal for the bike since both the seller and Barker hardly used the bike. The seller confirmed that the bike only had 12 miles on it which was obtained through the promotion of Barker's clothing line, "Famous Stars & Straps," which he founded in 1999.
The bike is called "green goblin" due to its eye-catching, custom paint job of a glossy bright green shimmer color. The Honda has a four-cylinder engine and its signature look comes complete with sparkling custom rims, and whitewall Pirelli Diablo tires.
It was initially listed in the Las Vegas Auction, however, there was no buyer confirmed when the auction ended on Jan. 27, 2018. The bike is now being sold privately through the original buyer that purchased from Barker.
Because of the bike's popularity, it can be spotted in many photos online for use in promotional campaigns for various brands. To help get the bike sold, Barker can be seen in photos with the bike asking for prospects to come take a ride and buy.
