Aaron Carter’s family is worried that he’s a suicide risk, and are reportedly calling the cops to keep an eye on him. This comes after a bizarre event almost two weeks ago that involved police arriving at Carter’s Florida home a total of three times over the span of 24 hours.
According to police reports obtained by TMZ, on Sept. 5, 2017, someone called St. Petersburg emergency dispatch at 11:47 a.m. to say that Carter was seen at a gun store trying to purchase a handgun. The caller expressed concern that the weapon might be used on Carter himself, so police went to his house to check up on things. Nobody answered the door.
Police then received another call later that same day requesting that Carter receive a psych eval for refusing medical care following a car accident. Cops arrived at his house again shortly after two in the afternoon and indeed found Carter with his BMW trashed and a busted nose.

Then, the following morning, police received a third call about a noise complaint, saying Carter was yelling and screaming about how he was going to harm himself, his family, and others. The fuzz arrived at 4:18 a.m., but somebody turned off the lights, closed the blinds, and didn’t answer the door.
According to sources speaking with TMZ, at least one of those calls was made by a concerned family member worried that Carter might be on the verge of a relapse. The source reports that Carter has been heard repeatedly saying things like “I can’t take it anymore”, and “I’m losing it,” and that he had been talking about suicide for months. There’s also concerns he’s gone back to huffing aerosol sprays used to clean keyboards, something that landed him in rehab back in 2011.
The family is exploring all legal options to get Carter help, according to the source.
Meanwhile, Carter says his family’s concern is completely unwarranted and that he hasn’t even spoken to his family in months save for his mother. While he admits he has some personal work to do, he doesn’t want his family meddling in his affairs. “When I’m trying to get back up on my feet, don’t try to swing me off my feet,” he told reporters.
