The beautiful women of Hollywood have a tendency to shave off their long, luscious locks. Sometimes for a humanitarian cause, and sometimes for inexplicable reasons that start some pretty intense gossip. Then there are those beauties that shave their heads for a role and end up looking just as gorgeous as ever.

1. Britney Spears

Let's start with the classic. Spears shaved her head in 2007 and made a huge media splash. Many people speculated she was having issues with drugs but Spears says she just wanted to rebel while her life was going through a rough patch.

This "Game of Thrones" beauty, known for playing Margaery Tyrell, shaved half of her head for a role in "Mockingjay", the third installment in The Hunger Games series.
