It’s no secret that celebrities get caught doing very shady things. A lot also have some dirty, dark secrets that would ruin their careers if the world found out the truth about them. J.Lo was once caught lying about the year she was born and it was her ex-boyfriend P. Diddy who actually told the world the real truth!

Jennifer was forced to tell the truth about her real birth date when she and her ex-boyfriend P. Diddy were questioned about a shooting in New York City back in 1999. Jennifer had always claimed that she was born in 1970 but it turns out she was actually a 1969 baby. We’ll let this lie slide, though, because J-Lo still looks good for her age, no matter what year she was born in.

Kim Kardashian

By now, anyone who has ever watched reality television, picked up a gossip or tabloid magazine, or has any social media account, for that matter, knows who Kim Kardashian is. They also know how she got her start in the business. After all, Kim Kardashian is one of the most recognizable names in the world. And if you didn’t know that, then you must have been living under a rock for the last ten years.

Believe it or not, Kim once told her ex-boyfriend Nick Cannon (this was before he was married to elusive chanteuse herself, Mariah Carey) that she never made an intimate tape ever in her life. Talk about the lie of the century. As we all know too well, Kim Kardashian’s claim to fame is her leaked tape with her ex-boyfriend, Ray J. And the rest as they say, is history.

Victoria Beckham

Victoria Beckham is by far one of the most successful fashion designers in the world. She’s worked hard to reach the top, but according to a lot of eagle-eyed fans out there, she might be hiding a big secret or two. Some even suggest that Victoria has been lying to us all of these years by insisting that she’s never had plastic surgery. Yet one look at her old photos proves there’s a chance that she might have had work done on both her face and her body.

And then there are the rumors that Victoria Beckham and her husband David Beckham are only married for the sake of their brand. P. Diddy

During the mid-1990’s, P. Diddy was on top of the world. Every track he produced became a huge hit. He was the biggest star of the music industry and as a result, one of the wealthiest entertainers, too. And even though he was living the high life, the wealth that he was flaunting wasn’t necessarily his. He actually got caught in a pretty embarrassing lie about owning a private jet.

After a few sources did a little digging around, they found out that P Diddy has never owned a private jet of his own, despite his claims. He was just renting one and boasted about it on social media. He later tried to backtrack on his lie by saying that he wanted to give up traveling by private jets altogether because of the rising cost of fuel prices.

Lindsay Lohan

Lindsay Lohan isn’t the same girl the world fell in love with back when she starred in 2004’s Mean Girls. Actually, it’s safe to say that the Lindsay we knew back then is long gone. Yet, we have no idea what the new Lindsay is up to as she hasn’t worked in Hollywood for several years now, is hiding somewhere between London and Mykonos, and is barely home for the holidays anymore.

But if there’s one thing that Lindsay has been very consistent with it’s her bad habit of lying. When it comes to lying, Kylie Jenner might have learned a thing or two from her older sisters in the Kardashian family. For years, Kylie denied that she got any work done on her face even though her lips were looking bigger everyday, and she became so unrecognizable that some people had to do a double take on the street.

Turns out that Kylie was secretly plumping her lips but didn’t want to tell anyone the truth, despite how obvious it became. And somehow this little lie of Kylie’s turned out to be quite profitable for her. She’s made millions off of her makeup and lip contouring kit, starred in her own Keeping Up With The Kardashians spin-off show and is set to become a bigger name than her older sister, Kim.

Beyonce

You would think that Beyonce is the kind of person who can say no wrong or do no wrong. People call her the Queen Bey for a reason. And even though she’s got millions of fans from all over the world, Beyonce still gets harshly criticized for not telling the truth in more ways than one.

The former Destiny’s Child singer has been caught in several different lies about her age, her marital status, and even her bad photoshopping skills on social media. Beyonce has tried to fool the world not once, not twice, but three times in thinking that her thigh gap on Instagram was real. And then there’s the unsolved mystery behind her “folding baby bump” back in 2011. Was she really pregnant back then? We might never know.

Angelina Jolie

Angelina Jolie might be one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood, but she might not be one of the most honest ones. Earlier reports indicated that Angelina might have lied about her family’s background. She told many people in Hollywood circles that she had Iroquois just to make her family’s history look a little more exotic than what it really was.

If that weren’t enough, she and her ex-husband Brad Pitt also lied about their affair back when Brad was still married to his wife Jennifer Aniston in 2004. Brad and Angelina began their romance on the set of their film Mr. & Mrs. Smith while Brad still had his wedding ring on his finger. Angelina at the time denied the cheating allegations, yet we all know how that turned out in the end. Ten years and six kids later, Angelina and Brad are in the middle of their own divorce proceedings.

Lance Armstrong

Lance Armstrong was once considered one of the best athletes in the world. He won the Tour de France so many times that we couldn’t keep count. And then Lance’s world came crashing down when the real truth came out about his wins and his supposed natural strength and endurance.

Back in 2015, Lance admitted to doping, because according to the disgraced athlete, cheating was the only way he could win races. If that weren’t enough, he allegedly had a “special relationship” with the cycling’s world most important players, allowing them to discredit anyone who would challenge or question’s Lance and his alleged doping use. As a result, all of Lance’s sponsors, including Nike, dropped him, forcing him to lose $75 million in income and product deals.

Rebel Wilson

A lot of fans will say that Rebel Wilson is the best thing to come out of Australia since Hugh Jackman, Nicole Kidman and Russell Crowe have come on to the scene. She is Hollywood’s latest darling and her talent for spot-on jokes and comedy has helped her win fans from all over the world.

Unfortunately, Rebel hasn’t been very truthful to her fans. She was caught lying about her name and her age. Earlier this year, it was reported that the funny woman had not been honest about her age and real name to a journalist. Rebel apparently told a Woman’s Day writer that she was related to Walt Disney and that she had a “super secret” apartment with waterfalls and twinkling lights. Who knows, Rebel might have been a secret Disney princess before she became famous, too.

Brian Williams

As a trusted news broadcaster, millions of viewers tuned in nightly to see Brian Williams deliver the day’s top news. This was before he became the news. For some reason, Brian wanted to look like a hero but ended up becoming America’s most hated man when he lied about his helicopter being shot and forced down in Iraq. He fabricated the story during an interview with David Letterman back in 2013.

And while many people believe that Americans are pretty good at forgiving and forgetting, this hasn’t been the case with Brian. Not only did he lose his job as the head anchor of NBC Nightly News, but he was heavily slammed by veterans for being caught in an outright lie. He said that he was shot down in an AK-47.

Martha Stewart

There’s no denying that Martha Stewart has always been the queen of crafts, home decor, and good taste. There’s nothing that Martha Stewart can’t bake or do in record time and with very little resources. Everything she touches turns into a masterpiece.

But at one point in her career, Martha Stewart was also considered the Queen of Lies. That’s because she was accused of insider trading after she reportedly sold thousands of shares one day before stock prices plummeted. Martha Stewart was later found guilty of four founts of obstructions of justice. She also lied to investigators. She was the first former stockbroker and professional crafter to end up in jail for her crime. Luckily for Martha, though, she’s not making the same mistakes anymore. These days, she’s sticking to crafting and baking delicious holiday cakes, and that’s no lie.

Brandy

If there’s one thing that is very important to former chart topper Brandy, it’s her good girl image. After all, she was America’s sweetheart in the music industry during her prime in the late 1990s. But Brandy was caught in a web of lies when fans found out that she wasn’t married to her music producer, Robert Smith. The couple share a daughter together but it turns out they were never legally married.

As far as why she lied, Brandy told Oprah back in 2014, “At that time, being pregnant out of wedlock was not a trend. I felt the pressure of having to be perfect. And I was scared. I thought that everything that I have worked hard for and everything that I worked to build — the image that I worked so hard to build — was threatened.”

Soulja Boy

As a rapper, Soulja Boy was just doing what every rapper in the entertainment industry loves to do, and that’s show off his wealth through his expensive possessions, cars, and of course, real estate. Everyone knows that no Kardashian or Jenner will take you seriously unless you have a multi-million dollar mansion complete with your own home cinema, recording studio, at least three swimming pools and of course, an indoor bounce house.

Turns out that Soulja Boy did have a $6 million dollar crib… that he was renting. He was caught lying about spending millions of dollars on a Hollywood penthouse when in actuality, it was just a really decked out Airbnb rental. It was actually on the market when the rapper boasted about millions on the property. Turns out that not only did he get caught on his lie, but he also didn’t have enough cash when he was offered to buy it.
