Often when a couple breaks up all the sympathy goes to the person getting dumped. Getting dumped is possibly one of the most difficult experiences in life. Sometimes that person can have feelings of insecurity, unattractiveness and worthlessness. However, it’s also very difficult to be the person doing the dumping. They’re not necessarily horrible people that are being selfish. There are many factors and causes to a relationship ending. There are times when a person is being selfish and possibly was unfaithful but as noted, that's not always the case. Some relationships are just not meant to be. For a celebrity couple, a break up is even more difficult because they have the entire world watching. Celebrities are often under the harsh spotlight and the media and their fans follow their every move. When a celebrity couple breaks up it can end up being the biggest headline news. Often fans will pick sides when their favorite couple is no more and chances are they’ll take the side of the one that gets dumped.

Matt Prokop is best known for his role in High School Musical 3: Senior Year. Sarah and Matt met during the auditions for High Musical 3 and soon started dating. However, in 2014 Sarah and Matt broke up with Sarah getting a restraining order against Matt. It was revealed that he had been abusive towards her both physically and verbally during their 5 year relationship. For Sarah it was the best decision she’s made and is happy with the direction her life is going. Matt seems to have regretted the way he treated her and the end of the relationship. It appears the relationship ran its course and both went their separate ways.
