The last thing you would probably ever expect is to hear that a famous celebrity was caught stealing from a store. That was what we all saw when Winona Ryder’s picture graced the cover of The Daily Mail. She wasn’t even one of the actresses who went broke, so she really had no excuse for her actions. She was seen on a surveillance camera on Saks Fifth Avenue stealing thousands of dollars worth of designer clothes. She received a whole lot of embarrassment over the incident plus three years of probation, 480 hours of community service, $6,355 in restitution to Saks, and $3,700 in fines. Some people believed that she did it to get attention because her career at the time was pretty non-existent. She told an interviewer, "I did come up against what felt like a wall. And with what happened … I really needed the time off, which ended up being a couple of years… In a weird way, it was almost like the best thing that could have happened.'"

Ariana Grande Licked a Donut

Although it probably wasn't illegal, it was a pretty disgusting thing for the singer to do. She visited a donut shop, and for some insane reason, thought it would be okay to lick a donut on display, a donut she wasn’t planning on taking with her. It was a pretty messed up thing for her to do, but she seems to have developed a reputation for being a spoiled brat. She was caught on a security camera for all the world to see. She could've made the situation better by apologizing but instead went on a rant about how she hated America. She continued on to state that people should be eating healthy and that Americans should watch what they eat. So, was licking the donut her way of protecting people from eating bad food? In that case, thank you, but no thanks, Ariana.

Drunk on the Morning Show

In 2007, John Stamos wasn’t doing that hot. He got arrested for a DUI and then appeared on The Morning Show drunk. At the time, Stamos was promoting his role on ER when he started acting strangely on the show. OK! Magazine stated that he "slurred his way through… wandering around the set, reading host Kerri-Anne Kennerley's lines from the teleprompter and making lewd gestures in front of her." Stamos denied it for two years until he finally fessed up to his behavior in 2009, telling The Advocate, "I'll be honest: when I went on that morning show, I was drunk… Yes, I was on sleeping pills, and I was jet-lagged, but I was also just plastered." Well, at least he finally decided to be honest. Hopefully, those days are behind him. It definitely shocked fans who are used to the squeaky clean actor from Full House.

Katharine McPhee Kissing Scandal

Usually, a kiss doesn’t cause much of a scandal, but in the case of Katharine McPhee, a photographer captured a kiss that caused quite a mess. She was caught kissing Michael Morris, the director of Smash, a TV show that she was involved in. When the picture came out, it became obvious that the two were involved, even though Morris was happily married for ten years. McPhee was also just newly separated from her then-husband, Nick Cokas. When the affair went viral, Morris’s wife kicked him out of the house, and McPhee was considered to be a homewrecker. The two broke up their affair, and McPhee moved on with her life. She later told an interviewer that she didn’t regret the affair one bit; she just learned her lesson. She considered it an opportunity to learn from her mistakes and then went on to date Nick Harborne.

Hooking Up with a Married Man

While filming Snow White and the Huntsman, Kristen Stewart devastated the Twilight community when she stepped out on her boyfriend Robert Pattinson and took off with a married man. That’s right -- Stewart carried on a relationship with the director of the movie, Rupert Sanders. Paparazzi caught them in the act, and it was splashed all over the cover of Us Weekly in 2012. The director was twice her age and had a wife and children. While Sanders was on his way to being divorced from a very angry wife, Stewart released an apology to the press. "I'm deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I've caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected. This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry." Stewart and Pattinson never survived the scandal, however, and he ended up leaving her as well.

Dangling Baby Syndrome

Michael Jackson shocked the world when he dangled his son over a balcony at the Adlon Hotel in Berlin to show off to his fans. There was a huge outcry after the incident, and Jackson apologized for his behavior, stating that he would never harm the child, that he just got “caught up in the excitement of the moment.” Fans only wanted to catch a glimpse of the iconic singer, but instead, they got more than they bargained for. The child wasn't harmed in the incident, but many found it very disturbing because we all pictured the baby slipping out of his hands. Even more disturbing was that the child was named Blanket at the time of birth but now goes by the name of "Prince Michael Jackson II." The children of Jackson were often made a spectacle because Jackson didn’t want paparazzi taking pictures of them, but this time, they got him good.

Cheating Scandal

In 2008, Sienna Miller was also part of a cheating scandal involving actor and producer Balthazar Getty who happened to be married with four kids. The two were apparently in a torrid love affair, and both were very happy together until the sh*t hit the fan. The Daily Mail was the first to show off the pictures of the couple vacationing together and stated that the two were "cavorting around while holidaying on the Amalfi coast." Getty then immediately released a statement: "In light of the fact that many pictures have surfaced in print and on the internet, which has caused myself and my family great embarrassment, I felt it necessary to at least acknowledge publicly that, yes indeed, my wife and I have separated, and I will not be commenting any further." Getty didn’t end up separating from his wife, and the two are still together.

Dropping Baby

A few years back, Britney Spears was going through some emotional troubles. It was around the time that she decided to shave her head. She was seen doing and saying things that were likely to tank her career. She, at one point, was photographed with her child in the front driver’s seat with her, but that wasn’t the photo that shocked everyone. While getting out of a car, Britney almost dropped her baby because she was only holding the child with one arm. The picture is horrifying to see, especially since the bodyguard is reaching out to grab the baby. Thankfully, the bodyguard was able to help her recover quickly without any harm coming to the child. But it didn’t put Spears’s parenting skills in a very good light. Her son is now 11, and Spears has also recovered in her career and seems to be doing much better these days.

Lip Syncing a Song

Ashlee Simpson caused a scandal when she was caught lip syncing her song on Saturday Night Live in 2004. It was such a huge scandal for such a young singer. She did fine when she performed her first song, but when it came time to perform her second song, the first song started playing instead. The singer looked completely confused and even stopped and started to dance a jig. It was completely embarrassing, and it was pretty obvious that she had been caught lip syncing. She later apologized and said that she had been sick that night from “severe acid reflux” and was just using the song as a backup just in case. She has never outwardly admitted to lip syncing and has always stuck to her story, but cameras don’t lie, and it was pretty obvious what she was doing.

Kate Middleton Goes Topless

Kate has been expected to be on her best behavior since she married Prince William and became the princess, although by most standards what she did wasn’t wrong. We've all dropped our drawers or gone topless while on vacation. While on vacation in France in 2012, Princess Kate was photographed going topless at a pool, and all hell broke loose. No one seems to care what she does in the comfort of her own home (or castle?), but on her vacations, the photographers figured it was fair play. Middleton has always been a more modern princess, but for a member of royalty, it was considered pretty scandalous. When it comes to the royal life, people expect a little more from the Royals, and they don’t want to see their princess going topless. Though Middleton didn’t go down without a fight, she ended up suing the three photographers as well as the publishing director of La Provence for the invasion of privacy and complicity.

Grabbing Some Butt

Robin Thicke was seemingly happily married and would often boast about how much he loved and adored his wife. But that all changed when he was caught in a photograph with a young blonde. The photo was scandalous enough because of how close the two were, but Thicke said that it was just an eager fan. The problem was that people looked closely at the photograph and saw the mirror in the background. It showed what was really happening in the picture, Thicke taking a big handful of the young girl’s butt. Thicke’s wife, Paula, saw the picture as soon as it went viral because a Twitter fan posted it and tagged her in the photo, saying, “Look at the reflection, girl.” Paula was rightfully pissed, and she immediately filed for separation and eventually divorced the singer. Thicke’s life fell apart after that.

Perverted and Drunk Affleck

If you want to instantly cringe and feel insanely uncomfortable, then you should watch a video floating around where a drunk Ben Affleck pulls TV host Anne-Marie Losique into his lap. It was during a press tour for Jersey Girl, and Affleck made an a$$ of himself as he talked about Losique’s breasts and actually had the nerve to say this to the host: "You know, you should work at Fox here in LA. You'd blend right in; they would love you. Fox LA, they have a pole that they dance on." Affleck behaved badly while drunk, and we’re sure that Jennifer Lopez, who happened to be his girlfriend at the time was super unimpressed by the whole thing. It was a disgusting display of bad behavior, and if you're brave enough to watch it, be warned: you're going to feel awkward.

The Drunken Pirate

No, we're not talking about Johnny Depp. In this case, the culprit was Kiefer Sutherland, and it happened in 2006. During that Christmas season, Sutherland got drunk and then proclaimed he was a pirate in a London hotel. He even launched himself on the Christmas tree that they had in the lobby, and it’s no surprise that the video went viral. The Daily Mail reported, “The now infamous scene of Sutherland launching himself on the Christmas tree took place in a London hotel when the actor was reported to have been under the influence of alcohol." Sutherland was able to laugh at himself and later made fun of the video in 2011 by posting his official holiday card on his personal Twitter page. It shows Sutherland about to launch himself on another Christmas tree. It’s one of the funniest celebrity videos we've seen in a long time.

Fooling Around with a Teenager

Rob Lowe was a bad boy in the '80s and got himself in a lot of trouble with a teenage girl. He was considered to be quite the heartthrob in the '80s when his career was at an all-time high. In 1988, Lowe took a hit to his career and his personal life when a videotape came out of the actor being physical with two girls. What looked like a guy having a good time turned into something much different when it was discovered that one of the girls was 16 years old. Lowe, of course, claimed that he had no idea that the girl was so young, as he had met her in an Atlanta bar. Shockingly enough, he only received 20 hours of community service for the crime, though his career took a hit. It should've ruined him forever, but like many Hollywood scandals, people always forget about it.

Kate Moss Does Cocaine

Kate Moss’s career took quite a hit in 2005 when photos of her doing cocaine at a party hit the covers of UK’s The Daily Mirror. The images didn’t look very good for the famous model, as it appeared that she was snorting cocaine. It was reported that Moss kept a huge stash of cocaine in her purse all the time while she was dating then-boyfriend Pete Doherty. The photos showed Moss cutting lines of cocaine on the back of a CD cover and sharing it with her entourage and her boyfriend. It was quite the scandal when it hit newsstands, and many of the clients that Moss had dropped her instantly. Fashion designers all over didn’t want to be associated with a model that did cocaine. As she got the new nickname “Cocaine Kate,” names such as H&M and Burberry started dropping her from their contracts. Since then, she's gotten her career somewhat back, although it’s never been at the height that it once was.
